GVD Renovations completed a full bathroom transformation in El Dorado Hills, CA, starting with a complete demo and custom reconfiguration of the space. The updated layout maximized functionality and flow, incorporating high-end finishes and thoughtful design details throughout.
We began by fully demolishing the existing bathroom, clearing out all fixtures and finishes. The new layout included selective wall removals and additions, a reconfiguration of doorways, and installation of a pocket door for space efficiency. Plumbing was relocated under the raised foundation to accommodate a freestanding tub with a tub filler and a luxurious custom shower featuring a lineal drain and a full HYDRO-BLOK waterproofing system. The shower and floor were finished with premium tilework, including a custom recessed niche.
We installed Diamond semi-custom cabinetry for the vanity area, topped with a custom quartz or granite countertop selected from our showroom, complete with a double sink cutout. Electrical upgrades included a new Title-24 compliant exhaust fan vented through a tile roof, proximity sensor lighting, and relocated switches for better functionality. The space was completed with laminate flooring, new baseboards, a fresh coat of paint.
