Full Kitchen Remodel in Elk Grove, CA 95624

The homeowners here wanted a kitchen that felt lighter and more functional, with room for a farmhouse sink and a backsplash that carried some texture. Our crew gutted the existing kitchen down to the studs and rebuilt it around a clean, modern palette, finishing this Elk Grove home with painted cabinetry, custom stone, and continuous wood-look flooring.

We installed Waypoint 410F cabinetry in Painted Mist, paired with matching 410F floating shelves in Painted Harbor for open storage. The countertops are MSI Calacatta Ultra, and to keep the project on schedule we upgraded the work to full custom slabs rather than waiting out a prefab backorder. Behind the cooking and prep zones runs Floor & Decor's Misty Fjord Linear backsplash, set with Mapei Warm Grey grout and finished with Schluter Greige tile trim. Mohawk Discovery Ridge in Lamb's Ear ties the floor together throughout the space.

Accommodating the farm-style sink meant dropping the drain plumbing so the basin would seat correctly, which our team handled along with sheetrock patch, tape, and texture. We also expanded the electrical with three additional switches and outlets, trenching into the slab to run a new 12-2 line in PVC conduit before backfilling and pouring fresh concrete. A new water line and ice-maker box were added for the refrigerator, with the wall finished back to texture.
