GVD was top notch all the way! They gave me the personalized attention bigger companies lack, and answered all of my (many) questions clearly. Gary the salesperson sold me on GVD, and everything he said was true! Danielle the designer took my fledgling ideas and made very useful suggestions and improvements. Max, the project manager, gave me regular updates, and the project was completed faster than I expected. The fabricator did a nice job with the stone.Sergei, Bogden, and the many other crew members and contractors showed up on time, and were pleasant, professional and trustworthy. Max explained the charges and payment was easy. Highly recommended.

Our kitchen, like our home more generally, dates to the late 1940s. Our cabinets were beginning to fall apart. Our vinyl flooring was at the end of its useful life. The countertops were simply outdated. The layout of the kitchen was neither pleasing to look at nor efficient to use. We did our due diligence, getting visits and quotes from six different construction renovation firms. We chose GVD Renovations based on their first visit, in which they provided us with how the kitchen could be renovated and modernized. I really don't need to say more than we now have our dream kitchen (very lived in with just baked bread on the counter and puppy waiting to go for a treat. We highly recommend GVD. They were great, professionals from start to finish. WOW!

We went with GVD for our the kitchen remodel… I was working from home so I kept an eye on the demo... to their credit they actually put up zip-walls to keep the dust out of the living area. The cabinet install is usually where things go south... but I made sure they were intact and in perfect condition upon arrival. - SUGGESTION - Let them handle the material ordering. I tried to source my own sink and it held things up. WARNING - They are a bit pricey. You aren't getting a bargain deal if you go with gvd BUT you also aren't getting a half-finished job. I am satisfied with the work and quality. If you want it done right GVD is a safe bet.

We finally decided to redo our kitchen and living area and honestly it felt like a lot at first. New floors, cabinets, countertops, backsplash… even had a wall we wanted to take down to open everything up. I didn’t even know where to start. We ended up going with GVD Renovations & Remodeling and I’m SO glad we did. Roman was awesome from day one, super patient and really helped us figure out what would look good without trying to sell us a bunch of stuff we didn’t need. Then Ross, our project manager, made sure everything actually got done and stayed on track. Every time I had a question he was right there to answer it. The crew was great too, they showed up when they said they would and actually worked hard. They cleaned up every day which I really appreciated cause I hate mess lol. Now that it’s done… man. It looks AMAZING. The new cabinets, the flooring, & the backsplash, everything just flows now. Whole place feels totally different in the best way possible. If you’re thinking about doing a remodel, seriously just call GVD. These guys know what they’re doing and they actually care.

I don’t usually write reviews, but GVD deserves one. My kitchen remodel in Sacramento is finally done and I’m honestly so happy with it. The whole kitchen design process was honestly really smooth. Danielle helped me pick the cabinets, colors, and all the details. Mike checked in often and made sure everything stayed on track. The new cabinets & Quartz Countertops look great. I have to say that I am very pleased with the kitchen remodel that they did for me. The project manager Alex Y. was very good about keeping me updated and communicating what was going to take place and when. Also the lead guy for the ones who were doing the work was also great with letting me know when he would be back. From the project manager, the lead and the crew all were very considerate and careful not to leave a mess, they all did a great job and the best part it was done sooner than I expected. Should I need another project to be done in the future I will be calling them!

We are in the process of getting estimates from a few different contractors. GVD Renovations was one of the first companies we contacted. Mike B. came to our house and spent almost three hours explaining everything about the kitchen remodeling process. Mike B. Is very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. We never felt rushed and the whole experience was very informative. At the end of our meeting Mike B. took measurements and scheduled a follow up meeting at the design center to go over our estimate. At our estimate review meeting Mike B. showed us some sample of cabinets, countertops, and flooring. After that he went over our estimate line by line and again answered every question we had. We have yet to make our final decision, but if we select GVD Renovations we are sure Mike B. and his team will do the job with excellence.

Mike Blesio did a free consult and estimate for us regarding a concept project my husband and I are looking to scope out. Mike was very professional AND polite. A well balanced mix of straight shooter/business friendly. I felt comfortable around him while he was in my home for the estimate, which all females can appreciate the sentiment of. My questions were answered, mine and my husbands idea list covered very well in terms of both feasibility and I the estimate for general cost. With our level of combined questions, delivered through me, there was a lot! And Mike handled it all very well. I would absolutely recommend giving GVD a call for an estimate to see for yourself!

GVD was awesome to work with. Recently we did a major overhaul of our kitchen including cabinets and countertops. I am not an expert at home design and was very stressed about this aspect of a remodel, but their design team helped uschoose cabinets, colors, textures, and so on and they were able to give us a computer generated image of what my kitchen would look like with various selections. It looked exactly like the image when they finished which was fantastic. Additionally their demolition and construction teams were super timely and even early on some aspects of the project. All in all the whole process was very professional and I would use them again in a minute for future home renovation projects.

We recently contracted with GVD for a kitchen refresh. The salesman, Gary, was wonderful in helping us make decisions, and covering all the bases. We worked with Danielle, the in-house designer, to help refine our finish choices. Once we picked out the finishes, GVD went to work with a fast demolition, done efficiently and always cleaned up, and then crew arrived soon after to do the tiling, countertops, flooring, install appliances. We are very happy with the quality of the work, and their willingness to make sure we were happy with the finished kitchen. We would highly recommend this company!

We had a very large home remodel recently completed by GVD - Kitchen, Master Bath, and 2 guest baths. The sales and design process was excellent - great communication and they worked with us to choose the right layouts and materials. The construction process was long, but worth it and given the scope of the job completed in a very reasonable amount of time. The tile/marble work in particular is spectacular - the attention to detail and quality of workmanship has made for 4 beautiful rooms. The master bath in particular was a huge change and the kitchen is a dream, clean lines and very functional. They clearly communicated any changes to costs based on our asks so there were no surprises. all of the subcontractors made sure to confirm design details before proceeding and at times made recommendations that were better than our original plans. The GVD team handled course corrections and changes real time. We are very satisfied with the work and love our new home.

GVD remodeled our kitchen , downstairs powder room and upstairs main bathroom in our home in Granite Bay. Work was all completed in a timely manner. The skilled workers in particular were outstanding, Eugene did our shower installation work, tile floor and grout and everything turned out impeccably. Everyone was very professional and respectful. EXTREMELY pleased with the outcome and quality of the remodeling . The price was somewhat lower than the other estimates we got and they stayed within budget no surprises. A couple very minor communication issues on occasion for example they accidentally installed the wrong countertop at first in the bathroom BUT immediately accepted responsibility, and the VERY next day installed the correct countertop that we had selected . My experience this is a top notch organization. Would definitely go with GVD again for a similar project. Do make sure you fully read and understand the contract and what is included or ask any questions before signing if you are not sure as they will abide to the letter of the contract. There is nothing wrong with this and probably this should go without saying for any company you would work with .

GVD did a great job on my kitchen remodel. Their work was excellent and the whole project was made easier for me because of their in-house consultant who helped me put together a plan for the whole kitchen. She produced a 3D version of what the finished project would look like which was a great help. They use high quality cabinets and have samples of everything you need in their office. I was also able to get specialty use cabinets for my specific needs. I highly recommend them.

We used GVD for our Sun City Lincoln Hills Napa model master bath and full bath remodel project. We are very happy with the entire team at GVD. Gary our project estimator was prompt at all appointments, bid was very reasonable and complete - and responsive with questions & follow up. Ben our project manager was responsive and on top of the details but not pushy or defensive when we had a couple small details that needed attention. We were very pleased with GVD's responsiveness and flexibility when the Koehler bath fixers we provided did come with the needed trim kits. GVD bought similar to fixtures and installed them....many other contractors would have just stopped and waited for the homeowner to deal with it. And Eugene our installer was very pleasant and respectful at all times at the job site....he came and went as needed (we were not living in the home during the remodel project initially) and was highly skilled & did really nice finish work. A kitchen remodel is a scary undertaking. It's a lot of money. Are you making the right decisions? Will things look right once it all comes together? Will someone be there to help me along the way to make those right decisions? I get it. This group at GVD were AMAZING. Everyone who came into our home was an absolute craftsman. No detail too small. They took the time to consider seams in countertops and make them look flawless. Our backsplash had a tile color we didn't love from the outset and they made sure those tiles were left out and replaced with a color we preferred. We were super picky at every turn and every request was met with a timely response. They even convinced us the microwave we purchased wouldn't live up to our standard so we pivoted last minute based on their recommendations. Couldn't be happier. These guys know what they're doing. Couldn't recommend them more. I often described our old kitchen as "Season 1 of the Sopranos" and they helped us breathe a whole new life into it. 5/5 stars.

He walked us through the process and what to expect from design through construction. He was very thorough in documenting our plans and ideas for the bathrooms. With the contract signed, we were eager and excited to get the project underway. The office staff and Danielle, our designer, were welcoming and attentive to our needs. There was a delay in the start of our project due to both the pandemic and supply chain issues. We had to make a few changes due to these situations, but once work started, it progressed smoothly. My husband and I have heard nightmares from everyone we knew who remodeled their kitchens, etc. We had a complete kitchen remodel and wood floors installed throughout. Old carpet had to be taken out as well as some tile. We do not have one complete about GVD. They made the experience easy. Everyone was so nice and respectful and the quality of the work is outstanding. Everything got done on time and at the price we agreed upon. We cannot say enough on how happy we are. We are recommending GVD to all we speak to.

We had our kitchen remodeled. New cabinets, appliances and flooring. GVD did a terrific job. It completely changed the look and feel of our entire living area. We couldn't be happier. As with most remodels, problems crop up that were not expected and results in something having to be changed. We pretty much knew the design we wanted for our master bath/shower area remodel. We also selected and purchased directly the various tiles and bathroom fixtures. We essentially needed a contractor to carry out necessary demo work to gut the existing area and then build everything anew. We met with GVD three times at their Roseville office for estimating and planning purposes. in July they committed to starting work on our time frame in September, completing work in November. (Another major remodel firm in the Sacramento area said that they could not even begin work until January, 2022 and also required that customers sign an onerous, one-sided, 39-clause contract addendum which had not been required when they carried out a full kitchen remodel for us several years before.) We are very pleased with the workmanship of GVD's installation. A major plus for us is that they are experienced in installing the Hydro-Blok shower system, which we wanted. As always with a job of this scope, being an involved customer as work proceeds helps make for a satisfactory outcome.

I now know why renovations are expensive. The contractors work very hard and long hours. Max, the Project Manager, was really great with communication and letting me know who was coming and when. Mike was amazing with his skills; installation, electrical, plumbing. The foreman, Serg, came by to correct a minor plumbing issue (hot/cold water switched) within hours of my call. From beginning to end, I was really pleased with every single part of the project, and my new kitchen is beautiful.

The project involved replacing/relocating kitchen island plus countertops, backsplash, range hood insert, floor tile, electrical and plumbing for a high end custom home. The project went as planned cradle to grave, noteworthy and impressive considering COVID. The design team did a wonderful job rendering our future kitchen allowing us to see (not just imagine) what it will look like both aesthetically and functionally. The construction crew knew their business. Each an expert in his craft. Even the 'permit guy' was impressed saying he could not find a code they did not follow to the letter. Bottom line: I would definitely recommend them and will use them again for my next project.

The construction crew made big efforts to wall off the rest of the house from the construction area and maintaining a tidy construction area throughout the construction period.

Sales Knowledge
I prefer to know upfront the deepest part of the pool before I commit, as opposed starting at the shallow end only to find the pool getting deeper one change order at a time. Mike knows his business and confident in the quality of the final result (and correctly so) and gave me the final big number up front. I really appreciated the open and honest candor on costs. He highlighted those items worth the extra cost and those that are not. Mike wanted what we wanted, a successful project we will be happy with for years to come, and now I have it.

We had been wanting to have our kitchen remodeled for 5 years. We found GVD through reviews and reached out. Mike came out and took measurements and general idea of what we were looking for. He was very detailed, professional, and gave us tips along the way. Ross came out and worked with Serge throughout to coordinate. Serge did the tear down in one day!
The length of the project was long, January initial meet to June completion but understandably, with shipping and COVID delays it was out of GVD's control. They wanted to make sure the work was done right and the materials we wanted were in. The tile work was done precisely and beautifully. The cabinets were done very fast and beautifully. The pictures don't do any justice. I'll also shout out Victoria and Danielle. Victoria was responsive when I had questions about what was next and coordinating dates/times. Danielle was great to work with - she assisted picking out colors and gave us different things to think about.
Overall, the team was great to work with and made it easy. We look forward to working with them again for future projects. I would highly recommend GVD!

So glad we used GVD Renovations for our kitchen project. For years we had been wanting to replace the tile countertops, looking on Yelp for possible companies the positive reviews made us decide to give them a call. So glad we did, from initial contact to the final touches all of the staff were very professional, cared about our project and did a great job. The other "big positive" was they started when they said they would and got the job done as quickly as they said they would, even working on a Saturday, but always making sure the schedule worked for us. I've include a before and completed photo. Had the counter lowered to a single height on the peninsula, but left the higher counter between the kitchen and family room. They did a great job with the conversion, looks like it was always meant to be that way. Giving us now have a great work area and we can still sit at the counter, but on a normal height stool.

When we had little bumps in the road it was not anything to do with the staff or the company. It was things I thought I did or didn't want. Vlad was amazing with coming up with ideas and solutions. I couldn't ask for any better foreman and troubleshooters. I had anywhere from one to five men in my home at once from the company and never once was I afraid, offended, or not comfortable with them. Alex and Ross worked together, and I had no issues at all.

The end result turned out very nice. The upstairs master bathroom was the winner because it was exactly what we had ordered and came out as planned. Very nice and it's the highlight. The 2nd bathroom also came out very nice - although we wish we had made a lighting change in there when the electrician was here -- as it's pretty dark and doesn't show up the finished product as nicely as it could have. The kitchen end result was much more functional than before - and we do enjoy the larger island that was put in vs what was there before.

Overall, we would work with GVD again in the future - as we have other projects that we'll need done. None as extensive as the one we already undertook, so that will probably make the coordination/timing of the work scheduled a bit easier.

GVD Renovations completed a remodel of our mater bath, vanity, and flooring through the adjascent walk-in closet. These are cultivated, courteous, and professional builders. The results were beyond our expectations at a rate that was very competitive and reasonable for what we got! They even found a bit of black mold and did a great add-on deal to get that out of the house and drywall replaced AS WELL as finding the source of the water leak that cvaused the mold... a bad weld on the copper plumbing during original construction. We also had individual pebble tile insatlled on the soaker tub wall... this can be chalenging to install and get right, but the results were magnificent. We will be reaching out to GVD when we are ready to remodel our kitchen, and I heartily and categorically endorse this building firm for your home improvement project!

We liked the fact that GVD was willing to work with my very DIY husband to remodel our bathroom tub/shower to a ADA walk-in shower in a timely fashion. Husband did demo and some of the construction (replaced window and built pony wall). GVD took down the concrete to form drain for walk-in shower, redid plumbing, tiled shower enclosure and bathroom floor, installed drywall, installed grab bars, and installed glass on top of pony wall. Husband painted, installed toilet, and replaced fixtures. If you have very specific design ideas make sure they are all in the contract before signing. We have never hired a contractor before, and details are important. GVD owner worked with us to mutual satisfaction. Best designer/tile man/worker ever is Slovic! We give him 10 stars for his professional ability, courteousness, and invaluable design suggestions to make our remodel a gorgeous, functional bathroom.

I’ve had the dream of having a beautiful kitchen after I moved into our new home, so picking the right company to help with the process of renovating my kitchen was very important to me. After going through many recommendations and estimations and speaking to many different companies, I finally set my mind on GVD Renovations. Their company had me sold with their professionalism and their kindness. They were located in Roseville, and my home is in Auburn so that was great that they are a local contractor. All the people I spoke to and dealt with before signing a contract really made me decide to work with them. I’m a perfectionist, and I wanted my whole kitchen redone. By whole kitchen, I mean counter tops, tiles, flooring, cabinets, back-splash and even some electrical work, too. The space of my kitchen is wide, but the way it was originally built was not efficient at all. Now that they are done with the work in my kitchen, I couldn’t be more happy to say that I finally have the kitchen of my dreams. We encountered a few bumps along the road and there were a couple set backs regarding the finish date of the project, but they were just so kind and diligent that truly, none of those things mattered at all.
