Prodigy Solid Core Insulated Siding, Painted Eaves and Gutters in Sacramento, CA 95828
On a street in southeast Sacramento, this home traded a tired, weather-worn exterior for the clean lines of Prodigy Solid Core insulated siding. Our crew started at the front of the house, stripping off the failing substrate down to the framing so we could build the new wall surface back the right way. With fresh backing in place, the new siding went up with crisp, consistent courses and a finish made to hold up against years of valley sun.
We installed roughly 28 squares of Prodigy 7-inch Solid Core insulated siding, a profile that adds an extra layer of rigidity and insulation behind the panel. Before any siding went on, we sheeted the open framing with OSB to give the new wall solid backing and shear strength, and we worked in fresh 2x6 boards where the structure called for it. We also ran about 118 linear feet of new seamless gutters to replace the old, worn-out system, and repainted the eaves and soffits so the trim reads sharp against the new siding.
