James Hardie Siding Replacement in Winters, CA 95694
Working off scaffolding and ladders to reach every high wall and tight corner, our crew re-clad the exterior of this Winters home in James Hardie fiber cement. The original siding stayed in place as a base layer where its condition allowed, and the finished result is a clean, weather-tight envelope wrapped in Boothbay Blue. The new color reads with a calm, coastal feel, and the crisp white trim gives it a sharp, defined edge.
We installed Boothbay Blue ColorPlus HardiePlank lap siding across the property. Before the panels went on, the walls were covered with HardieWrap weather barrier and the window and door openings were sealed with Forti-Flash rubberized flashing to keep moisture out at the most vulnerable points. Window and door openings, plus the corners, were framed in Arctic White 5/4-by-4 HardieTrim. Behind the scenes, our team opened and checked the wall framing, repairing dry rot where we found it so the new siding went over sound structure.
Once the siding was buttoned up, we removed the old shutters at the homeowners' request, reinstalled the downspouts and house numbers, and hauled away all the demolition debris.
