Full Kitchen Remodel in Folsom, CA 95630
In a Folsom neighborhood, this kitchen traded its tile counters, tin-and-tile backsplash, and dated cabinetry for a fresh, two-tone look anchored by deep blue lower cabinets and a stretch of polished quartz. Our crew opened things up by removing a non-load-bearing wall, then rebuilt the room around the way the homeowner actually cooks - relocating the refrigerator and adding the plumbing and power to support its new home.
The base cabinetry is Waypoint semi-custom in the 410F Painted profile, finished in Boulder, while the existing upper boxes and doors were refinished with stain and sealed under a durable conversion varnish. Viatera quartz in Muse tops the run, paired with a Floor & Decor Atlas Blue matte tile floor set over the original slab and grouted in Mapei Rain. For the backsplash we installed American Tin Ceilings Pattern #3 in Bright White Satin as a water-resistant panel - a distinctive nod to the kitchen's character. A separate butcher block surface adds a warm work zone.
Behind the finishes, our team handled the practical work that makes the layout function: relocating a gas line, running a dedicated circuit and water line to the new refrigerator spot, adding a GFCI and a switch for task lighting, and moving an outlet to the old fridge location. Under-cabinet LED task lights and recessed cans brighten the whole room, and a chimney range hood, undermount sink, and faucet finish out the installation. New baseboard, texture repairs, and fresh wall and ceiling paint tied it all together.
