Master & Guest Bathroom Remodel in El Dorado Hills, CA 95762
In a quiet residential neighborhood in El Dorado Hills, we reworked both the master and guest bathrooms to give each space a cleaner, more current look. The dated finishes came out and were replaced with painted Shaker vanities, fresh tile, and frameless glass, brightening rooms that had felt closed-in. Both baths now share a consistent palette while keeping their own footprint.
The cabinetry sets the tone throughout: the main vanity runs in a soft light grey Shaker, with the remaining cabinets finished in a white Shaker shake to match. We topped the vanities with white stone counters and set stainless undermount sinks for an easy-to-clean, durable surface. In the master, we built a custom shower with a tiled surround and recessed niche shelving, finished off with a new frameless glass enclosure. Floor and surround tile were selected to tie the two bathrooms together, with each surface installed to deliver clean, lasting results.

Paul did a great job with the tile. Igor was efficient with the cabinetry. Serge was on top of tying up loose ends for the other guys. Gary and Ross were always responsive when I reached out to them + Ross came back and dialed in our cabinet doors so that they were all flush and level. We definitely appreciated that.
Areas Of Satisfaction
The end result turned out very nice. The upstairs master bathroom was the winner because it was exactly what we had ordered and came out as planned. Very nice and it's the highlight. The 2nd bathroom also came out very nice - although we wish we had made a lighting change in there when the electrician was here -- as it's pretty dark and doesn't show up the finished product as nicely as it could have. The kitchen end result was much more functional than before - and we do enjoy the larger island that was put in vs what was there before.
Additional Comments
Overall, we would work with GVD again in the future - as we have other projects that we'll need done. None as extensive as the one we already undertook, so that will probably make the coordination/timing of the work scheduled a bit easier.
