The exterior of this Rocklin home now reads clean and current, wrapped in Seal Gray lap siding with crisp Arctic White trim framing every window, door, and corner. What used to be aging, worn siding has been replaced down to the studs, giving the whole house a tight, consistent surface that holds up to the local climate. Our crew handled the full tear-off and rebuild, including the tall and hard-to-reach walls that needed staging and safety setup to work safely at height.
We removed all of the existing siding and trim, hauled it away, and started fresh with HardieWrap weather barrier across every wall to keep moisture out. Window and door openings were sealed with Forti-Flash rubberized flashing, and we ran metal z-flashing where the siding called for it. Over that, we installed James Hardie ColorPlus lap siding from the Statement Collection in Seal Gray, then finished the openings and corners with 5/4-by-4 HardieTrim boards in Arctic White. With the walls open, we inspected the framing for dry rot and repaired the damaged sections we found before closing everything back up.
To wrap the job, we reinstalled the downspouts and house numbers that came off during demo and cleared the site of all project debris.
