Careful sequencing was everything on this Roseville kitchen, where every layout change had to land before the cabinets and stone went in. Our crew started by stripping out the old tile countertops, dated backsplash, and existing cabinetry, then removed a standard light box to clear the ceiling for a cleaner lighting plan. With the room down to its framing in key spots, we relocated the sink plumbing to center it under the window, moved the icemaker waterline for the new refrigerator position, and re-ran electrical so the oven and chimney hood outlets sat squarely in the middle of the wall. The result is a kitchen that looks effortless precisely because the rough-in work behind it was planned out.
The finished space is built around Waypoint semi-custom cabinetry in a Painted Harbor finish from the 400 Series door styles, with complementary floating shelves for an open, lighter feel. We fabricated and installed Vadara Naurelle quartz countertops with a mitered edge, including the sink, faucet, and airgap cutouts. The backsplash is MSI Brickstone Ivory tile set in a standard layout and finished with Schluter griege trim for a crisp edge. Underfoot, new laminate flooring runs through the space, and we wired in dedicated lines for the refrigerator and microwave along with relocated island and countertop outlets.
For lighting, we laid out and installed recessed LED cans across the ceiling and added under-cabinet LED task lights sized to each cabinet run, so prep areas stay well lit. The homeowner-provided undermount sink, faucet, garbage disposal, and chimney range hood were all connected and set, and we spot-repaired wall texture where the layout changes opened things up.
